Led+ strip problems with connecting
I have tried to get hold of anyone at Roku for the past month or so. My light strips that I have had for not even a year or so. Will not connect even though they have always been connected and never had problems and they are also right next to the router. I have only ever been able to contact one person from Roku support chat no one else has helped the only information I got from the last person was to sign in and out of my device while closing it in sign back in and yet it has been about a month and it's not working and I'm having the same problem constantly and no matter who I call or contact. I cannot get anyone to contact me back. Seems like a legit scam and a waste of money here if you can't get a hold of anyone and can't get a refund or any support.Solved465Views0likes1CommentSmart Light Bulbs keeps on failing to sync
I completely and totally regret buying the "smart" light bulbs. Not only does the app continuously "fail to sync" to the lights, I have often had to delete and remove the devices from the app, then redownload the app and constantly trying again. After that, the lights will work for a few times and then BOOM, app failing to sync yet again. Zero Internet issues at home because every other device in my house works just fine without failure. These lights need to be recalled and reevaluated or something. Whatever needs to be done, ROKU needs to address this. And according to the app reviews on Google Play, this is a widely distributed issue. Sorely disappointed in ROKU.636Views0likes3CommentsSmart light strip randomly turns on when I have them off
I bought the 32 ft smart light strip +SE a week ago. Hooked it up, plugged it in, connected it to the app on my phone, and all was well. Then suddenly, two days ago, the light strips started just randomly turning on when I have them off, off when I have them on, changing colors, flickering between colors, and generally going nuts. I do not know what is going on with it. I’ve tried resetting the lights, reinstalling them, etc., and they just keep randomly turning on and off for no reason. The instructions say Bluetooth is needed, but I never had a Bluetooth request for the lights, never found them in my Bluetooth, and have no idea why I need Bluetooth for them. My lights work fine but it says online they’re compatible with Apple home, but when I scan the QR code on the lights it doesn’t connect. Bluetooth is on and lights are already paired to the Roku app, I just want them on my Apple home so I don’t have to open the Roku app to change the lights and can do it from my watch or with Siri or pull down from the corner of my screen and do it that way.Solved696Views1like1Comment
