How to turn off Continue Watching section?
I don't want a Continue Watching section at all. I keep my home page nice and clean. I don't want to have to remove every show either. There should just be a permanent hide toggle. How do I turn off Continue Watching permanently?Solved8.9KViews9likes77CommentsLast Update Removed my Live TV (over the air) Icon
I tried the recommended solution of "Hide Streaming Channels" in another post but after the reboot, the old TV (over air) icon was still absent. I did sort it out by doing this: Setting>TV Inputs> scroll right and down to locate the OLD TV Icon Rename it to something else on the list (I changed my to "Antenna TV") The new icon now appears where the original had been Hope this might help someone2KViews3likes6CommentsPlease add a Twitch Channel
There is a Twitch app on Roku. It’s not good. You say contact Twitch! I did they no longer support their own app. The app has no feature to remove it once it’s been added. Since Twitch doesn’t support it. Please Remove it from the Roku service.Solved43KViews3likes3CommentsAdding Root Sports and AT&T Sportsnet apps to ROKU
Would ROKU please add the streaming channels from Root Sports and AT&T Sportsnet? Both of these channels are owned or co-owned by WarnerMedia, which owns CNN, TNT, TBS, and HBO MAX channels. Therefore, since those channels are on ROKU, it would make sense to add these sports channels as well. Thank you!!!6.3KViews3likes4CommentsUnable to Add Any Channels
Hello, As of today, I am unable to add any channels. I've tried 5-6. I can watch my existing channels, but can't add any new ones. I have the Roku Ultra, Model 4800X. I've tried a system reset and unplugging the device from the power source and plugging it back in, but no changes. Any suggestions from anyone would be much appreciated.6KViews3likes16CommentsWondrium Channel: Sign In Every Time Roku Restarted
Ever since the Great Courses channel was migrated to Wondrium I have to sign into the channel every time the Roku box is restarted. Not sure if I need to remove and re-add the channel to fix the problem. However, there is no option to remove the channel. Stuck. Goodbye Roku! Hello Amazon FireTV! Just an FYI if you want to be able to use IPTV streaming services, invest in an Amazon FireTV stick, I've seen them new as low as $14.99. Or maybe you hate everything Amazon. Fair enough, there's plenty of other device that utilize an Open Android system. Unlike Android-based operating systems, the Roku OS is a modified Linux OS which acts as its own closed system, meaning there is no way to jailbreak it or customize it. AKA, if they don't want you to use IPTV services, you don't. Save yourself the hassle of searching for hours on ways to sideload Roku with any IPTV streaming services, it is flat out a waste of time. If you are lucky enough to sneak one by on a sideload, it will be quickly disabled and your ability to sideload at all will be revoked. Roku made a definite mistake and underestimated the importance of their Private Channels feature. I for example am getting rid of ALL the many Roku devices I had on different TV's and have sworn off the company. I made one last ditch effort today to see if I could save the devices from storage by sideloading any IPTV streaming service and after wasting 1-2 hours trying, I am throwing in the towel SO SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE. I used to love Roku products and recommended them to all of my friends and family but removing such a beloved feature on all of their devices, I made the switch to Amazon (blegh) FireTV and haven't looked back. That said, I am by no means an Amazon fan and may switch further to just a generic Android device for TVs, that way I can install TiviMate Premium. If you have an IPTV streaming service plan, I'd highly recommend you do the same! Roku cut the private channel feature out of pure greed. They couldn't profit from it, so why allow it to continue? I'm proof why. You will continue to lose customers to your top competitors over this gaffe, I guarantee it. Adios, have fun on your closed system Roku's!7.8KViews2likes9Comments
