I tried everything you had suggested but it still is trying to load, stays at “0”. Any new updates anyone can share?

Keeps receiving HDCP 2.2 error on my Roku Ultra

In the past two and a half years I've gone through two Roku Express units, and now my Roku Ultra has failed. The Express units lasted a few months each, then just simply stopped functioning. So in mid July 2023 I purchased a Roku Ultra, hoping that the greater expense would provide a more reliable unit. Here it is only ten months later and the Ultra has given up. It will not provide a video signal. Yes I already went through rebooting it, disconnecting the power supply, disconnecting the HDMI cable at both ends, and still no video output. Audio works, but no video. Yes I am angry, but it is pretty well justified. Roku, why can't you build your units with better electronics? Audio and video reproduction is a very well understood medium and your company should be making products that are not such garbage. At a price tag of over $100, the Roku Ultra should be able to function trouble free for years. It should function until the technology is obsolete. And don't get me started on the HDCP 2.2 error. This is proof positive that your units use substandard electronics. Everything in the chain of my TV and audio playback is certified for HDCP 2.2 but yet Roku seems to display "HDCP 2.2 error" regularly. But if I try to watch the exact same content on my streaming Blu Ray player, that unit will play everything just fine without ever presenting me with any type of playback error.

[OS 12.0] Playback while watching “Coach”

When watching “Coach” on Roku TV channel on Samsung TV, playback is horrible. Streaks across screen with any movement. Watching on tablet is fine. Commercials are clear. Is this a TV setting?

Help Roku Ultra 2024 Dolby Atmos

Currently bought new #2024RokuUltra and having issues with Roku identifying any type of Dolby Atmos, Dolby vision, HDR content. I have LG 65CX TV playing Roku through back of TV 4K 120 Hz port and my LG SN9YG soundbar plugged into earc port with HDMI cable. Prior to upgrading, I had the 2022 Roku Ultra and had no issues, the Roku player identified all HDR formats, Dolby vision formats, and Dolby Atmos content. Roku support keeps blaming apps but I bypassed the Roku to play LG TV only through those same apps and content works just fine. I have tried factory reset, changed HDMI cables, enabled deep color format, even turned off volume level. Still nothing. Back to force always on double vision or HDR but can never get Dolby Atmos no matter what settings I try. I've tried these on two different 2024 Roku Ultra models. Roku support also said they would follow up but never did.

Red tint and loading on my Roku Express

Uhhh, so recently, my Roku Express has decided to go ‘red tinted’ and it loads really weirdly. Like, it’s overlapping words and pictures as if it has 2fps. It’s really annoying. Thoughts?

Screensaver Crashes the Roku Ultra 2024

Same exact thing with the new 2024 4850X. I have the 4800X that I was upgrading from and that unit is just fine, no issues. The new model has the same exact issues. Screen saver crashes the system entirely, sometimes the whole thing becomes unresponsive randomly in an app and reboots and other times just hitting home from anywhere will cause it to freeze crash and reboot too. There’s a new processor in these models and my bet is there’s some memory handling issue or something they need to patch. Very annoying and not a good experience at all. This new one is terrible, I’d never look back at Roku if I was a new customer and I thought this was normal.

Roku Ultra 4850 (2024) Dolby Vision Playback Issues - static/white artifacts

Hi, I have the new Roku Ultra and just replaced my old Roku Ultra 4660X by simply unplugging the HDMI cable from the old one and plugging it into my new one. However, Dolby Vision content on any channel or if it's turned on for the Roku home screen, shows white static artifacts that randomly pop up and disappear on the screen. My setup is a LG OLED CX 77 inch TV which is connected to a Yamaha Aventage 2070 AVR (Dolby Vision 4K capable). My Roku Ultra is connected to the AVR as well as my 4K Blu-ray player. Dolby Vision content plays perfectly fine from the 4K Bluray player to the TV so I don't see any issues with the cable to the TV or the AVR. My old Roku Ultra played 4K HDR content just fine as well on this setup. My new Roku Ultra will also play 4K HDR content just fine if I manually change the display type from the 4K Dolby Vision option to 4K HDR instead. I've tried changing the Auto-adjust display refresh rate and HDR Subsampling settings to see if that would change anything. Sometimes it seems a little better or worse depending. When it's worse, half the screen will display static that flickers on and off randomly. It feels like an HDMI cable issue, but all of my cables are Ultra High Speed and as mentioned earlier, play regular 4K HDR content from the Ultra and Dolby Vision content from the blu-ray player without issues. Thought I would share if anyone has any ideas. I might swap the HDMI cable going to the Ultra just for good measure, hopefully it's not a bug in the new Ultra OS.

Roku has audio but not video

Hello, Experiencing a similar issue. Successfully watched via Roku streaming device this evening, an hour later, we can hear but not see video on ALL channels. We can see graphics, including Ad timers, etc, in screen corners. I’ve unplugged the Roku, plugged back in. the internet connection is good. I’ve turned off and on again the projector. What could be the cause? Thank you

Intermittent screen flashing after 12.0.0 4184-91 update to Roku premiere

I have 2 Rokus and I've failed to find articles/feeds to see if the subject is a known issue. It seems that my devices are '...not eligible for agent for support' [separate issue] TL;DR - recent update seems to have caused video issues but I need to rollback the update to confirm 1. 3920X Roku Premiere S/W version 12.0.0 4184-91 2. 3920EU Roku Premiere S/W version 12.0.0 4184-91 Roku 1 connected via HDMI to Soundbar (Philiips Fidelio B5) HDMI input port From there the connection to the HDMI (ARC) port on the TV (Sony Bravia) This setup has worked without problems since I bought the 3920X a year ago and I have not made any setup changes to Roku, Soundbar or TV. Since the latest 4184-91 update applied on the 20th the video (Netflix, Sky News or just the Roku homepage) plays OK for maybe several minutes but then flashes different colours before going to a blank screen and then the picture returns. This issue the repeats every few minutes. Fault finding: Checked all cables seated properly Used different cables - Roku to soundbar and to TV Swapped the 3920X for the 3920EU Direct connection to TV, bypassing the soundbar With the bypass (4) the Roku worked so I assumed it was the soundbar connection. I then connected my MacBook to the soundbar in place of the Roku (MacBook to soundbar, soundbar to TV ARC port. I then mirrored my Mac screen to the TV without problems and then played a movie from the Mac without problems. I would like to go back to the previous version to 100% confirm that before I try anything else but I can't see a way to do that

    RVS-1005 error No connectivity

I am also getting this message for the last week. But I only get it on the PBS channels through Spectrum TV. Also after changing channel 2-3 times I get an RVS-1005 error, though this is the only streaming TV in the house. This essentially locks all channels out and requires a restart. Spoke to Spectrum and they say it is some home/Away error in my set-up. I do not have home monitoring so I see no home/away setting on my menus TV is a Sony, and I use the ROKU as Spectrum has some issue from Sony. I am unsure whether to dump the Roku or the kind of limited Spectrum router, or Spectrum internet, though that would be hard. Roku is a model 3820X
