Battery Camera Spotlight does not turn off via the app.
Hello and good day, I recently purchased a battery camera for my own use and for testing to see if a few folks who asked about it would be interested in one for their own use and I was just having a play with what it can or cannot do. I saw that it has a spotlight feature and I turned it on via the app and the camera responded and turned the light on. However when I asked it to turn the light off, the app shows the light being off but the light on the physical camera was still on. The WiFi was still connected (AFAIK) and the other functions seem to respond so I believe the camera still had communication with the app. The only way I found to turn the light off was to restart the camera. The camera was updated yesterday (7/1/25) the same day I unboxed it and set it up. Can someone please enlighten me on what I might be missing on this issue? So far, the camera seems to be meeting or exceeding my expectations but only time will tell. Thank you for your time and input on this matter!274Views4likes4CommentsSmart Home App events. I am having issues with the Delete button on the Smart Home App. It was recently changed from a pop up button after selecting items to delete to a permanent button at the bottom of the screen. My issue is that the Delete button is under the screen backward button and cannot be accessed. Is there a way to resolve this issue?85Views1like3CommentsRoku Battery Powered Camera stopped working after 2 weeks.
I bought a battery powered camera which does not work now. I did the troubleshooting steps twice which included factory resetting. I requested support from Roku and explained all the detailed but only got messages from them with no guidance. The most recent message was them saying they “had an update”. I asked what it was and then they ghosted me. Don’t buy their cameras!!154Views3likes12CommentsCannot pin camera to home screen

It worked initially, but randomly stopped. I can manually turn the light on through the app, but it doesn't activate at the time (verified to be the correct days at the correct time) I have it set to for the sleep routine. App has been un and reinstalled, app is up to date, light firmware is up to date. Lamp is plugged in and functional, Internet is connected and of good quality. Any tips?54Views1like3CommentsLimiting access to camera feeds
Hello! I was wondering if there was a way to limit access to individual indoor camera live feeds to other people who have the login information for my account. My children have access to the Roku Home account and I want to put more cameras up but I don't want them to be able to see certain cameras. Is there a way to make this happen or will they see every camera on the account no matter what?75Views1like5CommentsSmart Home App: Camera Setup
Hi all, does anyone know if the camera/app will work without google play services? I have tried several different IP/wireless cameras with zero success. There are many security apps available through the Huawei store but none of them seem to work with the cameras available in the US. Assuming one was to use the camera without the app, can it still work on the SmartHome website? Appreciate any advice you can give, thanks!183Views1like9Comments
