Audio issues with Paramount+ and Max
Hey, I've been so annoyed with the audio sync on Paramount+ and Max, so I've trying disabling audio mode, restarting my Roku, and removing them adding it back. So none of them did not help restore the audio settings for these two apps. please fix itSolved312Views0likes1CommentHelp Roku Ultra 2024 Dolby Atmos
Currently bought new #2024RokuUltra and having issues with Roku identifying any type of Dolby Atmos, Dolby vision, HDR content. I have LG 65CX TV playing Roku through back of TV 4K 120 Hz port and my LG SN9YG soundbar plugged into earc port with HDMI cable. Prior to upgrading, I had the 2022 Roku Ultra and had no issues, the Roku player identified all HDR formats, Dolby vision formats, and Dolby Atmos content. Roku support keeps blaming apps but I bypassed the Roku to play LG TV only through those same apps and content works just fine. I have tried factory reset, changed HDMI cables, enabled deep color format, even turned off volume level. Still nothing. Back to force always on double vision or HDR but can never get Dolby Atmos no matter what settings I try. I've tried these on two different 2024 Roku Ultra models. Roku support also said they would follow up but never did.2.8KViews0likes14CommentsRoku has audio but not video
Hello, Experiencing a similar issue. Successfully watched via Roku streaming device this evening, an hour later, we can hear but not see video on ALL channels. We can see graphics, including Ad timers, etc, in screen corners. I’ve unplugged the Roku, plugged back in. the internet connection is good. I’ve turned off and on again the projector. What could be the cause? Thank youSolved1.5KViews0likes4CommentsMy Roku Buzzling/Static Noise
I've had my Roku for about a year and it's always been fine. Tonight whilst I was watching something it suddenly started making the loudest buzzing/static noise and the screen went all green and stripey. I tried to turn the TV off but it wouldn't turn off, even when i was using the TV remote. The only way I could turn it off was to switch the whole thing off at the wall. It's happened twice more since and it scares the **bleep** out of me every time. It's so loud! Anyone know what's going on?3.1KViews0likes7CommentsXfinity Audio Getting Garbled or Lost (A continuation of the Xfinity Audio Out-of-Sync issue)
Hello all, This issue was reported (and closed) as fixed for many but not for all: Xfinity Audio Out of Sync Unfortunately I am still having similar audio issues. So, after updating my 3 Roku Streaming Stick + units (and the Xfinity app itself) the volume still becomes degraded and garbled after varying intervals of operation. Next, I tried changing the audio options to "stereo" and now the audio disappears completely (instead of getting degraded and garbled). FYI, I did not touch the volume mode (set to off). For reference, here is the information for one of my 3 Roku Streaming Stick + units: Model 3810x, Software 12.5.5 Build 4174-50, Device ID C138D1864074 Also, here is the Xfinity Stream app version: 6.14, Build 0 Just for the record, Roku reported my connectivity as excellent. So, my final test was to go out and buy one of your competitors 4k Max sticks and that completely solved all the Roku-related audio issues. Moreover, my download speed was bench-marked (by the new 4k Max) at 372 Mbps. In summary, I think Roku needs to re-address this issue because the problem is clearly still present for some of us, and, the fact that installing a competitors 4k Max stick actually fixes the issues, clearly points to the root cause being either the hardware or software of the affected Roku units.Solved1KViews0likes1CommentStreaming device volume drops or gets distorted
Model 3810x software 12.0.0 build 4184-50 volume will get distorted, go up or down intermittently. This has been happening several months and getting worse. I have had these devices and loved them until this problem started. sometimes it will get resolved when going back to the home screen or restarting the stick. I have seen several posts with the same problem for the Roku tv and other streaming devices going back to early 2022 with no clear resolution. Verifying the audio is set to auto doesn’t have any affect. I have tried it several ways, but the problem keeps happening. If the problem is across multiple devices, then that would indicate it is a software problem.Solved4KViews2likes25CommentsNo audio
My Roku will not let me listen to videos anymore. Before someone replies with the generic "unplug it" answer this is what I have done to fix the problem. 1.) Unplugged the device for 5 minutes. 2.) Plugged the device in to the second HDMI slot on the TV 3.) Plugged the device in with a new HDMI cord 4.) Plugged the device in with the AV cables 5.) Tested my TV audio and both my Wii and DVD player both have audio with no issues 6.) Make sure the TV is not on mute 7.) Follow the steps from previous posts about changing the audio on the Roku All of this did nothing. The audio worked fine last night. Turned off the TV like normal and went to bed. Today nothing has changed and the audio isn't working. Tried calling customer support and they are closed due to the situation. I was redirected to their website to email them and kept being redirected to the community page to post.4.4KViews1like5Comments
