I don't think my TV supports HDMI-CEC or it's broken. Is HDMI-CEC just a regular HDMI port on the TV or is it a special port that will say HDMI-CEC? Or is it just a setting on the TV in the menu? My TV is a Sharp so does Aquos Link Control have to be on and if so can I use a regular HDMI port or does it's still have to say HDMI-CEC on the port? Within the second day of installing the Roku soundbar we started getting the HDCP Error message. I followed the instructions to properly install the soundbar. I used all the cables that came with the soundbar. I followed the steps to fix the issue, but only seems to be a temporary fix, because the error message will return a few days later. I just recently changed the HDMI cable to one that I previously had. Seemed to be working fine and then the error message came up again. This never happened with any of our previous Roku devices, which were Roku Premier devices. Is anybody experiencing this issue with their Soundbar. I am on the verge of returning it. I've gone through all the support steps like factory resetting it. Bought it new and it won't pair to my ONN Roku TV. Tried chat support and they had no idea what I was talking about even after sending them the link to the product. https://www.roku.com/products/audio/tcl-roku-tv-wireless-soundbar Any ideas? Maybe it's a lemon?Solved7.7KViews0likes5CommentsAudio HDMI arc not working after update
I have the exact same issue with my Roku Streaming Stick 4k. Was working before November. Now, no sound for any other inputs through ARC. The only thing that works is TV speakers. After unplugging Roku and restarting the TV/soundbar, ARC works fine. Plug Roku in again, back to TV speaker. I bought the wireless speakers 9020X and I've been trying to pair it with my Streambar 9102MX and there's no option in the paring menu on speakers or subwoofer, just remote and headphones. I've tried everthing from restarting, factory reset, new batteries on the remote and nothing seems to work. How can I get the option to pair speakers to appear? My speakers are 11 months old (I purchased two sets for two different TVs). My left speaker on one quit working, it's dead and no power to it. I traded the power cord out from the other speaker and it's still dead. Both speakers are wall mounted and free from damage. In total I own three sets of these and I'm fearful the other may die and they are only warrantied for the first 30 days.Solved4.8KViews0likes16CommentsMini wireless speakers compatible with Roku TV
So I have a 32-in Magnavox Roku television that I purchased March 2021. I know that it can connect wireless speakers because in the settings it has that option and everything and I happen to have this speakers that came with my bed I need 8 in diameter mini speakers two of them anyhow I tried to pair those ones with that television and it just didn't do anything. Now they are very cheap probably like $5 at the dollar store little speakers so that could be why. And support from Roku said there's no way to tell and another woman tried to tell me I can't do it which she has to be wrong because I went through all the steps and why would it be in the settings you know she was trying to say my TV wasn't allowing it but I know that's wrong. Anyway so I would love to know if anybody just a brand that they know for sure will connect to Roku TVs wirelessly. Thank you so much if anyone can help I will be so happy thanks! #rokucompatibilities #wirelessspeakers please helpSolved4.6KViews0likes5Comments
