What is Roku direct and is it suddenly a choice on my WiFi networks? We can’t use our remote app
We can’t connect with our mobile apps and have tried all the usual fixes. But a new WiFi network DIRECT - Roku-69-3CAE17 appears and we don’t have a password for that. Can’t over ride it either. What’s going on?

Re: What is Roku direct and is it suddenly a choice on my WiFi networks? We can’t use our remote app
That is a dedicated/private network (normally hidden) for your Roku Voice remote and other pairing needs to communicate with the Roku device. (the network is created by the Roku device itself). Works in tandem with the "Device Connect" feature located under Settings/System/Advanced System Settings/Device Connect.
You cannot connect to it. Only authorized devices like the above will use and connect to it as needed. (internal Roku operations/usage/remote control functions)
