My device today has stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi
My Roku device today stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi. I have reset the device and Wi-Fi a few times. When I do a Wi-Fi search it comes up as stong network. Then when connecting to Wi-Fi fails. Has the box die or is there something else I can try?

Re: My device today has stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi
Hi @Hayley14a ,
Welcome to the Roku Community, and thanks for letting us know about this.
Could you tell us if you have made some changes to your router recently? How far is the device from the router? Also, have you tried any troubleshooting in trying to resolve this?
Let us know more about this so that we can further look into it.
Thanks,
Rey

Re: My device today has stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi
@Hayley14aConnection issues tend to be related to network congestion so the best solution is using an app like WiFi Analyzer for Android, or if you have an iPhone, something similar in the App store. Once its installed, it will show all users and the channels they've selected and its likely many are on the same as yours. It will also show the best channel suggestions so logging into the router and changing the channel should solve it. In case you're not network savvy, most routers are dual band today with both 2.4 and 5 gHz bands, each offering a selection of channels. The 2.4 band has better range, but is slower than 5 gHz. Hope that helps 🙂
