My roku loses its memory every time I turn it off

What exactly do you mean by losing memory? What is it exactly doing?
Have you tried doing a system restart in the settings or unplugging the power for 30 to 60 seconds to clear the cache.
I wonder if it's in store or demo mode.
@andyross Maybe that is possible too, but I would think it would restrict things to the point the user would notice? The posting isn't very clear what exactly the user means.
