My settings on both devices are correct and they both connect with other devices, but not with each other.

Hi @DumbDumb

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!

We're here to help. There are a few things that you can try to troubleshoot the connection issue between your Android phone and your Hisense Roku TV.

  • Restart both devices: Power off your Android phone and Hisense Roku TV, then power them back on and try connecting again.
  • Check for software updates: Make sure that both your Android phone and Hisense Roku TV are running the latest software. If there is an update available, install it and try connecting again.
  • Check your network connection: Make sure that both your Android phone and Hisense Roku TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Check the Smart View settings: Make sure that Smart View is enabled on both your Android phone and Hisense Roku TV (if your Roku TV running OS 7.7 or later, the feature is enabled automatically and there is no action required to enable it).
  • Try a different mobile device and see if you any difference.
