Roku Tv and Roku Express connection

I needed to buy a new television, so I got a Philips Roku TV. I also have a Roku Express that I was using with my old TV before it stopped working. I want to know which HDMI port I should connect the Roku Express to on my new setup. I don't have any additional devices like a soundbar, DVD player, or Blu-ray player at the moment. Right now I have it on hdmi1 with no issues. It's a new TV, so should it be connected to a different port? I realize this might seem minor, but I want to ensure everything is set up properly.

Re: Roku Tv and Roku Express connection

Most HDMI ports can be used with no problems.  If you have an ARC HDMI (typically labeled ARC, which stands for audio return channel) on the TV, that is used for sound, such as a soundbar or home receiver.  If that is your main and only device using HDMI, then the first port should be fine for that.
