Most HDMI ports can be used with no problems. If you have an ARC HDMI (typically labeled ARC, which stands for audio return channel) on the TV, that is used for sound, such as a soundbar or home receiver. If that is your main and only device using HDMI, then the first port should be fine for that.
So far, everything seems fine, so I will let it stay as it is for now. I appreciate the feedback.
