Reset router on a new Roku

My new Roku keeps saying reset router. It is not a smart TV. My older Roku on my other TV works fine.

It's probably telling you that you should try restarting all of your network equipment - gateway/modem/router.

You have a better chance of getting the help you need if you can supply some additional information.

  • The model (and model number if you know it) of your Roku. (This is ALWAYS a good idea when asking for help.)
  • Believe it or not, who is your internet supplier?
  • How do you get to the point that the "reset router" message is shown?
  • The full and complete text of the "reset router" message.
