I have to restart every day

I changed my Wi-Fi router and modem and now I have to restart every night I turn on the TV I don't have a power saving option to disable the auto power save. When I initially set up my modem and router it worked fine on my Roku. But then I changed a setting because I could not connect my printer to the Wi-Fi via help from Arris support. I'm thinking I need to call them back unless someone here can provide a different solution as to why I have to restart my Roku every night I want to watch TV it's super annoying.

Re: I have to restart every day

Hi @Suzie93,

Greetings from the Roku Community!

May we know what setting you changed that causes the need for the Roku device to be restarted before it lets you stream? Also, can you please specify and elaborate what you see on your TV screen when trying to stream? Are you getting any error messages on your Roku device?

With more details, we will be able to assist you further.

Kind regards,

Eunice

Re: I have to restart every day

I will login to Arris to check on the setting. The error message is 014.30.

Re: I have to restart every day

This happens to me as well. Right after I change my router/modem. Did you find a solution?

Re: I have to restart every day

I did not, randomly, it started working again where I did not have to do the restart for connection. When It happened to me It was after a hard restart to my modem router My guess is that someone in my family unplug the router plugged it back in and that might have done the trick. Sometimes unplugging both the Roku as well as the modem / router and then plugging back everything in will fix the problem. If it doesn't otherwise exercising patients and sticking with it and miraculously it will work again. Got to love technology
