What was the problem cause mine just started saying same?

I did and after couple hours it finally did update but now I am having trouble with the Roku direct keeps showing up even tho I disable device connect.I turn TV off come back and it still showing on phone.Is there a way you can tell if TV was hacked or is that even possible because back in October or after last system update I have had problems out of my Roku TV and Roku Express.The Express is hooked to a non smart TV element 32 in and it all a sudden would not power TV on or off and it changed some settings on TV to where I can't access some stuff that I used to be able to access.I have to keep unplugging TV.My 58 inch screen got zoomed out to where If I was gaming I couldn't read words on screen.Just some weird stuff was happening like be hacked...thanks for answering back.
