The Roku camera doesn't have video capability unless you pay $100!

I am stunned that this camera isn't capable of video unless you pay $100! The instructions don't even mention using a memory card! This item should clearly say on the box "home surveillance service". Without paying, this simply takes a picture! But what's really the kicker is that this camera takes a picture, then won't do that again for 5 minutes! So if you're a burglar, you've got 5 minutes after you trip it to smash and grab. Unbelievable! This surely will hurt Roku's reputation and I believe will see their customers going elsewhere for their camera needs. I know I am!

Wait until you see what happens after you pay $100 for video cloud storage! 90% of the time, it fails and you still end up with just a single still-frame photo. Things are getting better however. Before, it was 98% of the time that video would fail to upload to the cloud for 2 of my cams. 2 other Roku cams upload video to the cloud more or less consistently. You'll find lots of complaints about this in this community forum - check the section dedicated to Roku Smart Home.
