When you turn on your TV Roku has a screensaver on instead of showing you the Home screen. If you just turned on your TV with your Roku remove, surely you want to start using the device. You have to press any random button on the remote again to just turn off Roku stand by mode. That could be easily improved.
The build quality of the remote is good, but the buttons are not responsive at all. You have to press them very hard and they don't register presses like on Samsung or any other remote I've used.
Me and my girlfriend are computer savvy and she has the same experience.
Overall you have an excellent product though and I'm very happy I purchased Roku. It improved my experience by a lot!
