I have a rental and have Spectrum as my TV provider. I would love to allow people using guest mode to have Spectrum and watch the cable I am paying for.
Currently to do this, they have to switch inputs from where the Roku is plugged in to the TV’s app, and use a second remote.
I’d love people to be able to just use one remote. I suppose I could just toss the Roku completely, and only use the TV remote, but I like the concept of guest mode.
This could be done be having the owner log out of guest mode, install the spectrum app and sign in, then turn on guest mode. Guest mode would not overwrite any installed apps only new ones.
