This worked for me -
Changed "Digital output format" (Roku Audio menu) to Custom and Dolby - NOW IT WORKS.
I think this has to do with the HDMI version of the device the Roku is connected to.
Bull**bleep**!
Hi ,which version of HDMI are you using? please!!! To do a test, thank you!!!
Hello Jeff ! You said ‘Now It Works ‘ when u changed tu Dolby Digital . I said that I also changed from auto tu Custom then DDPlus bt I ve no sound . Do u ve sound wth the Dolby Digital Plus?TKU
It looks like the Denon AVR-X3000 is 2013 ish vintage and from the below website I would say that it is ver 2.0 since 2.1 was not released until 2017.

I have picture and audio playing in Dolby.
@YampyboyDid you check your TV sound settings? Are you using HDMI-ARC? I know I had a Comcast box that was not working right a few years ago and I had to change the HDMI settings (I forget the exact details of that - I think that was a picture issue). HDMI is great when it works but I have spent many hrs fighting with it too.
TKU Jeff!
Hi , yesterday I tried many different HDMI cables and played with the 3 different tvs that I have on the settings and nothing!!! Definitely Roku Please fix this it is the 4 week with no OTA and Recording channels
