Solving playback issues

Uninstalled Sling and re-installed it - but Sling was not in the Recommended nor general Apps list - had to use search to find it.  Re-install worked, but who knows how long that will work.

It appears they rolled back the update they automatically pushed out. Delete the app and then reinstall and you should be able to log in then now. The app after I did this no longer shows TV after Sling on the flash screen on start up for me.

try deleting and reinstalling the app now. It appears they did a roll back on the update they pushed out and if you delete and reinstall now it looks like the old app is being pushed out now instead of the update.

Roku stick is back up, new logo even.. Haven't checked tcl-tv and other sticks. Seems they got it (mostly) resolved.

• Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About).
• What channel and version/build is the channel (this can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)?
• Tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID).
• What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

Once we have this information, we will be able to pass it along to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.

sling app will not open as of 3/20/24 on my roku why?

We understand that the Sling TV channel cannot be accessed using a Roku device.

Please be advised that we are currently aware and our Roku team together with Sling TV has been investigating this issue closely.

In the meantime, we recommend performing the below steps and see if you can resolve the issue:

1. Removing the Sling TV channel from the Roku home screen
2. Restart your device. Once it loads up again
3. Add the channel back once more and try playing content again.
