Roku ultra having HDMI issues after splashscreen
My Roku ultra is connected to a BenQ projector and has been working well for over a year. But this last week it is having issues getting past the Roku splash screen. The Roku splash screen at 720p will show up just fine but when it switches to the home screen of 1080 my BenQ says there's no HDMI connection. I tried a Roku 3 and it worked just fine. I connected the ultra to another television and it works fine on that one. I even set it to 1080p manual to know avail. Could something from the latest update on 1214 have caused the issue? I really need the Roku ultra with the fiber optic audio, But now I'm not sure if another Roku ultra will fix the problem since it seems to work just fine on others screens.

Re: Roku ultra having HDMI issues after splashscreen
It's been a while since any Roku device had an optical audio output, so a new Ultra wouldn't help. You might want to set it to 720p and see if you can live with that. Have you tried unplugging the power from the projector for several seconds? Sometimes it's the TV/projector that needs to be restarted.
