I recently purchased a Roku Ultra. When first turning it on there is a loud buzz. This started the day after we set it up. It can be resolved by unplugging the power cord, but it happens daily. I have changed the HDMI cable, but it's still happening.
Thanks for keeping us posted, @KJ70!
Since this could be a TV-related issue, we suggest reaching out directly to Insignia TV support for further assistance. They can provide more troubleshooting steps tailored to your specific TV model.
We are hoping to get everything sorted out for you soon.
Cheers,
Emman
Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community, @KJ70!
We appreciate you informing us about the issue you're encountering with Roku Ultra, having a loud buzz when turning it on, and we'd like to keep an eye on this so we can investigate further.
Could you please let us know if you have tried rebooting the device? If not, we would recommend doing so, to see if the issue will be resolved.
Here's how...
You may need to restart your Roku device to get it working properly again. To restart it, either unplug the power cable, wait a moment, and then reconnect it. Or use the following steps to restart it from the Settings menu.
If the issue persists, try it on the other TV and see if we can isolate the problem if it lies within the TV or in the device. If you have observed that the behavior continues after connecting it to the other TV, get back to us and let us know more about your device details below.
Please keep us posted so we can help you further.
Thanks,
Emman
Thank you Emman. Restarting it does resolve the issue, but only until the next day. It did not happen when hooked up to another TV so I assume the problem is within the TV. The TV brand is Insignia. Do you have any suggestions, or are we relegated to unplugging it each time before we turn it on?
