Does the issue only occur on a specific channel? Have you tried connecting your Roku Ultra to a different television to see if that will make a difference? Please reply here as well with the serial number of your device. It can be found at the back or underneath the player itself.

Did it with several channels (Netflix, Hulu, etc). It seemed to work fine on another older tv.

You've mentioned that your Roku Ultra seems to be working fine connected to your older TV. With that being said, the issue might be the HDMI port on your Vizio TV. Could you try connecting your device to a different HDMI port at the back of your Vizio TV?
