Randomly distorted/robotic audio with Roku Express

I have the same problem.  It's been going on now for a couple of years.  At first I blamed YouTubeTV, but after switching to Directv Stream, I still have the problem, so it's the Roku.  I hope that the Roku responders here on these boards will actually communicated to the Roku engineers that they have a flaw in their audio and they need a software fix.  Stop telling us to reset this and reset that....those fixes do not work.

We would like to gather more information regarding this issue you had on YouTube and Direct TV channels since the audio randomly distorted or became robotic on your Roku Express. Do you have any other device(s) connected to your TV? (e.g., speakers and other sound systems) Could you elaborate more about the troubleshooting steps that you have taken so far?
