ROKU plus DirecTV— is this a potential overheating problem?

I am having some Roku power cord overheating problems. Using Roku Streaming Stick 4k. TV is brand new (small 24” LG smart tv). Internet is Starlink. Roku will stream nicely for about 15 minutes, then the power plug becomes very hot to the touch. TV is also set up for DIRECTV, Which has worked very well until adding the Roku device. Should I unplug DIRECTV on that one TV? Anyone else having this issue and is there a solution out there? Thanks!

Hi @Wildfarmrose,

Thanks for reaching us here in the Roku Community!

We appreciate you for flagging us about this issue going on and we'd like to be of support here. This behavior is a bit odd, it's also impossible that this affects the connection along with the DirecTV. You may try another power outlet and see if that makes a difference. If the problem persists, you can check for another power cord and power adapter to confirm if this is an issue along with these connections.

Thanks,
Rey
