Solving playback issues

If the picture on your Roku is smaller than the screen, there are a few things you can try to fix the issue:

• Check your TV settings: Make sure that your TV settings are set to display in the correct aspect ratio for your Roku device. You can check your TV settings by pressing the "Menu" or "Settings" button on your TV remote.
• Check your Roku settings: Go to the "Settings" menu on your Roku and select "Display type." Make sure that the correct display type is selected for your TV. You can also try adjusting the screen resolution or display mode.
• Check your HDMI connection: Make sure that your Roku is connected to your TV through an HDMI cable. If your TV has multiple HDMI inputs, try switching to a different HDMI input.
• Check your Roku zoom settings: Go to the "Settings" menu on your Roku and select "Display type." From there, select "Calibrate display" and follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the zoom settings.

Just get a programmable outlet or outlets for the Roku & router. Program the outlet to turn off & back on every day. Some routers have a auto reboot feature built in.

Last week, my new Roku Ultra 4K started playing video in a one inch square screen in the upper left corner of the screen. The app screens were full screen. Turning off the power saver mode solved the problem. I started using the Ultra in November of last year. It worked fine until last week.
