PBS app isn’t working. Screen goes grey then pops back to the main screen
Try removing it, restarting, and adding it again:

We've been watching the PBS Frankie Drake Mystery Series via ROKU but lately when I click on the next episode the sound/dialogue from the prior episode comes on and when I arrow back it tells me to restart...but I can't end the sound from that prior episode. I have never had any problems with watching these PBS series before....what gives?

I have 3 Roku devices and PBS suddenly stopped on all of them last week Oct 10th 2024. It just returns to the Roku home screen. I have done the following steps several times:
1. removed the app
2. unplugged the Roku device
3. reset the internet modem/router
4. plugged in and restarted the Roku devices
5. loaded the PBS app and it still returns me to the Roku home screen.

I went to systems and there was not a choice for system update. I tried software update with no results. I still can't get PBS. I have tried the removing the channel and adding it back in. Did not work. Please help
there is no system update under settings on my roku
@watchpbs, Roku has a terrible habit of changing wording in their menus. "Software update" used to be called "System update", so older posts will refer to "System update". They're the same thing.
When you removed the app and added it again, did you perform a "System restart" after you removed it and before you added it again? If not, try it again.
Followed all these steps. Still crashing.
