Uninstalled and reinstalled apps.
Signed out then signed in again obnd on Nd on ad infinitum, ad nauseum!!

Same issue.
Did all the troubleshooting tips and factory reset twice. Did not resolve the crashing issue.

For others with this problem, this solved it for me. Clear cache and disable 1-touch play as shown in this thread.
Has anyone solved this issue? I have this problem constantly. I tried everything listed in this post. This happens with all apps youtube, paramount, nextflix, Disney, the list goes on. At first thought it was the wifi so I put a USB ethernet dongle, tried a different wifi network, etc. Have reset the system etc. The only thing I have not tried is disabling one touch play as suggested over in the reddit thread. Went with the stream bar because it seemed cost effective. But we can't through a show without it freezing. May have to buy a second appletv and separate soundbar and file this under live and learn.
