We have never had a problem with the NFL app automatically going back to the Home Screen until now. I can stream on my phone, but every TV/Roku device in my house always takes me back to the home Roku screen. I cannot cast a game from my phone to any TV either.

This just started happening to me as well on multiple Roku devices. All other apps are working normally. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app multiple times. Cleared the cache on the device. Restarted the device from the Settings menu. Unplugged the device. Restarted my modem and router even though the Roku is hard wired to the router.

Please get this corrected as it seems to be a recurring issue.
I’m experiencing an issue with the NFL app on my Roku device. When I attempt to launch the app, it briefly loads but then crashes and returns me to the Roku home screen. Other apps on my device are working without any issues.

Steps I’ve Tried:
1. Restarted my Roku device.
2. Removed and reinstalled the NFL app.
3. Verified that my Roku software and the NFL app are up-to-date
Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue. I’d appreciate any updates on a resolution or additional troubleshooting steps I can take

Well, this problem came back a month later (20 November).
Past two days NFL app won't load. Crashes back to home screen. Restarted and updated my Roku device numerous times.
I contacted Roku via chat and phone. They say I have no subscription to NFL.com on my account & that is why things are not working. I went to my account and did not find a subscription. My credit card was charged a few days ago for the subscription AND I am able to view it via my browser. (And it was working fine on Sunday.) It would appear that many of us have lost our NFL subscriptions from our Roku accounts. (A better error msg when trying to start the app would be nice.) So Roku told me to contact NFL.com to resolve this. BTW, I got my subscription directly through NFL.com and not through Roku.
I will now try to figure out how to contact NFL.com - wish me luck!
