Hisense Roku TV reverts back to Home Screen

3 year old Hisense 58” Roku Smart tv stops and reverts back to Home Screen. Some apps last longer than others before it happens. The Roku Channel itself is the one that only goes a few minutes and reverts to home so I cannot watch anything. I have done EVERYTHING resets, reboots, etc etc etc. Please do not recommend what I have already done. Has this issue been solved? I see no answers other than collecting information. Seems to be a software issue as Antenna TV and DVD works fine. I need an answer as do others from what I can tell. Bad news travels further than good news and I will trash Roku and Hisense on X and every social media site I can find. I will become an anti Roku activist. Just tell me if it can’t be fixed and I need to shoot my TV with a 12 Gauge. So unhappy. Feels like everything is made to fail so people are forced to buy again.

Re: Hisense Roku TV reverts back to Home Screen

Hey, @Whitedog.

Thanks for reaching out!

Seems like you're having an issue with your Roku TV's apps crashing back to the home screen, and we want to check it out.

To help us in the process, can you provide the following info?

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and Software Version. (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • Tracker ID (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button five times, followed by the Back button five times, and provide us with this ID)

Please get back to us soon!

Best,
The Roku Community Team

Re: Hisense Roku TV reverts back to Home Screen

Apparently there is no solution to this issue and a few year old 58” tv that sort of works gets to get a video on YouTube of me me destroying it. I am sure of one thing, I have purchased my last Hisense Roku TV.
