With the rate at which people are dropping cable/satellite subscriptions, I don't blame cable-type channels that require TV provider authentication for asking for proof that one's TV provider account is still active. But daily seems a bit much.
I find I have to re-authenticate with my TV provider just about every time I load up Bally Sports. But I don't use the Bally app often -- essentially only when my home baseball team plays the Braves and the broadcast is otherwise blacked out for me because I live in Braves territory.
The frequently used channel I need to re-authenticate the most is Watch TCM. I have to authenticate my Directv account so often that I have added a shortcut to the TCM login page to the home screen on my phone and my tablet.
