Green screen in Roku home and all apps

Jump to solution

Roku streaming stick is turning the screen green- this is on the Roku Home Screen and in every app. The issue is not the TV, as the other inputs look fine, it’s just the one with the Roku.
Things I’ve tried that haven’t worked:

Checked for a software update

Restarting the system

Unplugging Roku from the current power supply

Putting the Roku in a different port

Pressing the home button 5 times, up arrow once, rewind twice, fast forward twice

Hi, @tfwallace.

Greetings from the Roku Community!

We understand that you're having an unintended issue with your Roku Streaming Stick, which has a green screen on its display. We'd like to assist you with this.

  • Restart the device: We recommend doing this through the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If there is no Power submenu, proceed to the next step.) > System restart.
  • Check for Roku system updates: Go to Settings > System > System update on your Roku device and select "Check now" to ensure your device runs the latest software version. If there are any updates available, proceed with the installation.

We hope this helps.

Warm regards,
Emman
