Fox Sports app not authorizing

I'm a Dish Network subscriber & trying to watch the World Series on Roku. There is no Dish app so I added the Fox Sports app. After entering credentials it tells me I'm not authorized based on my package. This is not correct. I can watch Fox on my main TV or on a tablet via the Dish app. Why is the Fox Sports blocking me?

Re: Fox Sports app not authorizing

You'd have to ask them.  Roku isn't responsible for how apps authorize their users.

Re: Fox Sports app not authorizing

I've read here and there that some content providers want extra money from cable/sat providers to allow "TV Everywhere" apps to be used, and some cable companies don't pay it. (Since people already complain about the cost of cable.) In any case, like @renojim said, that's something going on between Fox Sports and Dish, so you'll need to ask them.

Banned but back. Because why not?
