Solving playback issues

Does anybody have a weird similar issue. When I fast forward through commercials on DVR mode, the connectivity drops when I reach my desired spot in the program. I get the whirring circle and it doesn't go back to the program. I am able to get connectivity again sometimes when I rewind backwards a few steps. I am sure it is not my wireless connection as everything else plays fine. Could this be the Roku device itself? Thanks.

Which app? Tablo? YouTube TV? Hulu+Live TV? DirecTV Stream? Frndly.TV? Any of the many other apps that have DVR functionality? Give us details and we'll try to help. Include your Roku model number and OS version/build. Settings > System > About
