Are you saying you connect to Spotify and Tidal with Roku Express and send that to your Yamaha A/V? If so, from what I can gather, Roku doesn't support HD Audio or lossless playback. A decent Streamer will allow you to get the full HD Audio and lossless music. You can connect directly to your Yamaha bypassing Roku completely.
The Arylic S10 is pretty decent and around 90 bucks on Amazon.
