Another BLACK SCREEN issue

We have a streaming stick.  Plugged into Denon receiver.  Also plugged into Receiver is an XBOX with multiple streaming services.

HDMI connect s Denon to Sony 85" TV.

This morning, out of the blue, the screen is BLACK when I switch to ROKU input.  I held down power button on stick until I got a reset, the setup info came on screen and I reentered WIFI info, stick acknowledged WIFI and INTERNET connection. 

BUT THEN IT WENT BLACK AGAIN!!

I can hear the tones when I press buttons on remote but that's it.

Everything works great from XBOX input.

Now what?

The first thing to try is to connect the stick directly to the TV.  I know that's not how you want to use it, but it would verify whether or not the stick itself is bad.  Insufficient power can also cause problems, so try another USB power adapter from a phone or tablet if you have one.

In case you didn't know, you don't need to hold in the reset button just to reboot/restart.  Holding it in gets you a factory reset which means you have to set it up from scratch.
