It used to be that when you go to your "subscribed channels" they were PROPERLY displayed in alphabetical order (you know, so you could find what you're looking for), but now they are displayed in the order in which you subscribed to them. What kind of millennial common core math thinking makes any sense to displaying your channels out of alphabetical order? What if you (like many of us) have hundreds of channels you like to watch? This is insanely stupid, and there isn't a way to put them back in the PROPER order!
This is more of a complaint than a question.
#youtube subscriptions
You should take your complaint to Youtube/Google since they're solely responsible for how their app works. I doubt they're interested since they, like a lot of companies these days, seem to do whatever they please.
P.S. - who knew there was a @Youtube user here? Probably not really Youtube and it hasn't visited in over four years.
This is not a Roku issue. Roku does not write the app. YouTube/Google made the change, and it's not just Roku. I have a Fire TV and Google TV, and they all changed at the same time. They are now in some order based on how often you watch them. I don't know if there is any way to force it back to alphabetical on a TV. Some Google searching finds many posts from other angry TV users...
I’ve checked and YouTube subscriptions on iOS and PC are in alphabetical order. The order of YouTube subscriptions on Roku is the issue.
The out-of-order list only occurs on our Roku box.
I just finished running YouTube on my mobile and Roku box - only the Roku box fails to keep subs in alphabetical order. They (Roku) are running an algorithm that changes order based on at least two parameters: number times viewed, and last viewed.
if anyone at Roku is checking, this disorder needs to be fixed ASAP…please!
