YouTube Chinese interference ?

Since I can’t leave a comment I’ll make it in a form of a question just to be able to post my point of view.

It’s nothing to do with Roku as I have both Roku streaming device and Amazon Fire TV. I see these Chinese so called ‘commercials’ on both.

Also, I first saw it in Canada on a totally different streaming service - my cable provider so what I really wanted to convey is, whether we access YouTube through cable, Fire TV or Roku we are still getting these Chinese crocheting/knitting (or whatever), videos. It means YOUTUBE has to get this under control!

Re: YouTube Chinese interference ?

I would suggest reporting that channel that you are viewing in YouTube as not being a legitimate stream.  YouTube has thousands if not hundreds of thousands of channels/streamers that they have to keep track.  There are a number of those that are not legitimate, and they get removed and pop up again later or as a new channel. Those illegitimate ones try to do different methods to avoid detection, including sliding in a different thing in the middle of what looks like a regular broadcast.   If you report it as an illegitimate stream, they will be able to review and remove the illegitimate ones and hopefully get the problem under control or at least be able to put a dent into those broadcasts.
