Roku setup

This is my second Roku Express in the last week. I thought I had received a faulty one so returned it and got a new one. The first one worked better..the issue was it kept blinking on and off about every 30 mins..I would reset and all would be well for a short time. Today I got another one and can't even set it up. When it's on the page where it says language I want to select English, but it keeps flashing  on and off almost like a disco light. What am I doing wrong?  Any advice before I open up window and throw it out. Thank you.

Sounds like an HDMI handshaking/signal stability issue.

Try a different HDMI cable or HDMI port on your TV.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did and it didn't change anything.
