This USB device requires more power" message when no USB plugged in

Problem solved.

After reading posts I changed the power cord.  Didn’t work.  Already tried extension cords, new outlets, and throwing things at the neighbors.

Finally went to check power in settings.  In power saving area I unchecked everything.  Error went away, and has not returned for 3 hours now.

Fingers crossed.  Hope this helps someone.
