Set up account can't read the instructions.

I just went ahead and bought a new remote instead of dealing with this old one.

Now I have an additional issue:

I bought a second system for a guest bedroom.  2 issues:  set up account with wrong email AND chose Spanish language for my roommate but when he is at work and I'm trying to set things up - now can't read the instructions.

Really wish I could talk to a person instead of texting.

Looks like you've been struggling a bit with setting up your Roku device, and we're here to help you out.

Have you tried a factory reset on your device to restart the setup process? If not, we recommend doing so and activating it all over again.

Change default language:

  • Go to Roku Home page via remote Home button.
  • UP once to go to Settings, then click on it.
  • UP once to go to System, click on it.
  • DOWN 5 times to go to Language, click on it
  • Click on language choice

Only way to change email address (and thus link to a different Roku account) is to do a Factory Reset and set it up again from scratch, this time linking to your desired email address.

From Home page:

Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset.
