I ran into a problem with set up of a Roku 4k stick on a computer monitor. During the device set up the TV Control screen requires configuring the remote to control a TV. This cannot be completed on a monitor. There is no option to skip that step in the set up. Roku support was of zero help.
The solution I found is to set up the stick on a TV, configuring the remote to control the TV. Then, move the stick to the monitor and configure the display settings manually.
Suggestion to Roku. Please provide a means to skip the TV Control step in device set up.
