I had the exact same problem with my older Visio 19" TV that worked for years with my Roku 3 and then all of a sudden "No Support" started displaying. I tried 2 or 3 different HDMI cables and each port. Tried resetting Roku to lower resolution via another TV. Multi reboots and resets ... nothing works.
@Aussiebill, the "not supported" message is probably just showing up briefly when the Express reboots and likely doesn't have anything to do with the real problem. If you're using the TV's USB port to power the Express, try using a USB power adapter/charger from a phone or tablet that can supply at least 1 Amp plugged into the wall.
Greetings and welcome to the Roku Community.
We appreciate you for bringing this to our attention, and we would like to collect more details. Is this issue happening to a specific channel? Also, are you receiving any error codes aside from the "No Support" prompt? Further, if possible, would you mind sending a photo or an image referring to the issue you've encountered?
The information you provide will guide us to assist you better.
Wishing you the best,
Kash

I am in the set up mode. It runs thru language, connects to my Wi-Fi ,then goes to updates. It then goes back to language
I have Roku Express. In setup it goes all the way through and after updates goes back to language.
A short message pips up after updates and says not supported.
