Roku Live TV is a black screen
Everything else on my 7517X Roku TV is working except for the Live TV. It’s just a black screen when I try to watch a channel. I’m in Canada and the Live TV used to work for me.
I’ve tried a system restart, a factory reset, holding the reset button on the back of the tv for 30 seconds, checking for updates, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as rebooting my router. Nothing has worked.

Re: Roku Live TV is a black screen
Are you certain that you have a Canadian Roku account and not a US Roku account? If you search the "Streaming Store", do you see apps that are only available in Canada like Crave?

Re: Roku Live TV is a black screen
The apps seem to be American. How do I switch to a Canadian account?

Re: Roku Live TV is a black screen
This question has come up before and Roku has never reported a way to transfer an account between regions. All you can do is create a NEW account in your new location and link your Roku to that.
To link to a new account, you'll have to do a factory reset on your Roku and set it up all over again.
(Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset)
When you set up the Roku after doing the Factory reset, be sure you are connected to the internet via an IP located in your new area (not via a VPN with its server elsewhere). Link your Roku to the new Roku account in your new region. And just to be sure, it may be a good idea to identify the account with an email address also located there.
