I just got a Roku Express and right after I connect to my wifi, the device restarts and goes back to the setup screen and asks me to choose my network again. What is going on and how can this be fixed?
A possible cause of behavior like that is not quite enough power. Such as powering it from a TV USB port or an AC adapter with an insufficient power rating.
@Cameron92M While I don't own this particular model, I'm wondering if you're familiar with WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar for iPhone. I mention this since connectivity issues are often associated with channel congestion. Once the app is installed you'll be able to see how many others in your area use the same channel, then log into the router and switch to one that's less congested. With today's devices, most use the 5 gHz band though 2.4 gHz might be a better choice depending upon your home/location. Regardless, I hope that helps!
