I do not want to cancel my ROKU subscription- just need to stop third parties having access to my credit card via ROKU streaming

Every Roku device supports Guest Mode. That blocks them from accessing your account and allows them to enter credentials for something they might have a sub for. When the leave you take it out of Guest Mode (on your user account web site) and all of their information is wiped and it's back on your account. Then you can enable Guest Mode again for the next guest.

,At the very least, if you log into your account at https://my.roku.com you can create or reset a PIN value. You can then choose when the PIN is to be required, such as before it will allow any subscription or purchase to be made on your account.
