Just purchased a Sylvox 55" Outdoor tv

Jump to solution

Hey there! So, I recently bought a Sylvox outdoor 55" TV and a Roku Streaming Stick 4K with long-range Wi-Fi. When I tried to set up the Roku stick, it asked for the manufacturer's name, but Sylvox wasn't listed. Is there a way for me to make the Roku stick work with my Sylvox outdoor TV? Thank you!

Hi @fourcand,

A warm welcome to the Roku Community!

We understand you are having trouble setting up your Roku streaming device with the Sylvox outdoor TV.

Please be aware that this TV brand only accepts Bluetooth remote signals.

In this case, to pair IR - we recommend selecting RCA or Polaroid codes and following the prompts to complete the process. It will be setting #5.

If this doesn't work (it didn't work the first time for some users), unplug the TV and unplug the Roku. Then plug them both in and try again.

For more information, pair your Roku remote with the TV by following the steps listed in this support article on how to set up your Roku voice remote.

Let us know if this works for you.

All the best,
Chel
