We recently got rid of our cable boxes and are switching to streaming off of Roku. I have added a Roku device to 3 of our televisions without any problems. However, the oldest TV does not have an HDMI port, but it has a USB port. I am not tech savvy in the least. Is there a converter for this situation or is the Roku device simply not compatible with this relic of a TV? Thanks.
That's not possible, but there are HDMI-to-RCA converters like this available if the TV has the Yellow/Red/White RCA connectors. They don't give the greatest results and with Black Friday approaching it may be time to retire that relic. 🙂
I would suggest an HDMI to component converter, rather than composite, if possible, since it is possible to get HD via component. It depends on how old the TV is, of course.
