Getting a “You’re already subscribed to this channel” pop up

Just started the 2 month Crunchyroll gift subscription, and got this pop up instead of letting me watch anything in premium. It is already listed in my subscriptions. I don’t understand what to do exactly. I’ve never had a previous subscription to this app before.

To start, ensure that you're signed in with your credentials on the app.

In the meantime, try restarting your streaming device:

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

If the issue persists, try updating the software of your streaming device:

  1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Software update
  5. Select Check Now to manually check for updates

If the issue still persists, we suggest reaching out to the channel provider and inquiring further, as they are the best ones who could provide further details regarding their channel functionality on the Roku platform. You can reach them through their direct Crunchyroll Support

Furthermore, you may visit this support article on how to update the software on your Roku streaming device
