Good deal. Would suggest plugging this unit into the wall outlet for power as underpowered devices can become damaged internally.
Sounds like yours may have just been defective from the start though.

My apologies. You did say it occurred on all screens in the first post. I was hoping it was just a matter of a corrupted screen saver, but that makes it sound like a defective unit. I'm glad a new unit fixed it for you.
